  • Working with management to develop proposal and pitch documents for potential clients and projects.
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Basic understanding of common web technologies (HTML/CSS, JS Libraries, PHP, Python, etc.).
  • Time management and organisational skills to work and deliver on simultaneous projects.
  • Experience in delivering on accounts to timescale and budgets.
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Making a VERY good coffee.

      Brand Badass

(A.K.A. Digital Branding Strategist and Designer)

We need a hero. We’re holding out for a hero ’til the morning light…

Due to our continued success, we need a thinker, a doer, and a creator. The thing is, we’re looking for one person, not three.

This is a flexible position. So, as long as you can offer us a minimum of 3 days a week – we’re happy. We also have a hybrid working policy, so you don’t need to be in the office every day.

Here’s your chance to have a great work-life balance and advance your career!

Our new hybrid hero will be a core member of our talented, forward-thinking team. An average day involves using strategic skills to win over customers and tactical skills to figure out solutions.

You’ll be an heroic caped* matchmaker, helping people fall in love with our clients’ brands by taking an holistic approach to delivering great strategy, amazing concepts, and incredible creative.

EQ is about emotions, and emotions are complicated. We’re looking for someone who can take all that ‘woolly’ stuff and turn it into an effective strategy that works with the client’s KPIs and business goals. You’ll need to ask the right questions, and understand that design is more than just making things look fantastic – everything you do needs to be strategically aligned with the brand’s values. The priority is giving value to our clients and speaking their audience’s language, so you’ll need to look at branding and marketing as two sides of the same coin.

It will be important for you to be willing to demonstrate what you know and learn what you don’t know.

There’ll be a lot of diversity too! We’re a growing agency, so you’ll be involved in all aspects of brand touchpoints and be a spokesperson who’ll represent our client brands to the rest of team EQ. Really well.

You’ll thrive through working in a fast-paced environment with a growing client base and close relationships. In our small (yet perfectly formed) brand and marketing team, you’ll work closely with our Head of Brand and help us grow, and as part of our thriving business, you’ll work with multiple teams and clients.

The position is a great chance for someone who wants to take the next step and build on their existing skillset in a fun and growing team. So, if storytelling is your superpower, big problems don’t phase you, and you’re OK with us singing Bonnie Tyler songs at you – then this could be the role you’ve been looking ‘Thor’, so let’s talk!

*Not all heroes wear capes, but we would love it if you decided you wanted to!

      The role

In your role as a Digital Branding Strategist and Designer, you’ll help develop brands and work on campaigns, working across Brand, Digital Branding, and Communications. It will need to be in your nature to go the extra mile for clients – listening to them and their customers, accepting and implementing feedback, and continually improving every aspect of their brand.

You’ll love everything about branding and marketing, helping our clients uncover who they are and find their niche.

      Key Responsibilities
      Brand
      • Compile, develop and execute plans in line with business strategies.
      • Design and coordinate campaigns through various mediums, including print, online and social media, and monitor, report back on the success.
